The Story of The Mountain Ettins
The Mountain Ettins once worked for the Shee over a millenia ago,
maintaining their mountain research labs. To keep the Ettins warm, the
Shee decided to tweak their genes to encourage a woolly coat to grow so
that the cold weather on the mountains wouldn't freeze them to death. Since the Albian year 550, the Mountain Ettins have been left to do their own thing and developed
some complex mating behaviours, not unlike mountain sheep, with the males challenging other
males before mating.
A month ago a herd of Mountain Ettins sensed that everything was going to suddenly change and
came down the mountains into an Albian settlement. Without hesitating, the herd left Albia on a
mission to colonise it's moon. A day later the remenants of a BorgNorn vessel rained down over their
mountain range devestating the area.
Narrowily avoiding destruction,
the Mountain Ettins now live with
the other settlers on Albia's Moon.
Their amazing 'sixth sense' ability
to perceive hidden dangers and
avoid them, has allowed them to
avoid assimilation by the
BorgNorns.
